Located in Ashford Connecticut, Rendez-Vous Farm is a premier boarding and training facility owned and operated by lifetime horseman and show jumping professional Caroline Mercier. Caroline has over 30 years of experience starting, training, riding, managing and showing top level horses. She has ridden and trained with some of the top leading professionals including Kim Kirton, Peter Leone, Jeffrey Wells and George Morris, just to name a few. Caroline has competed successfully, at the National and International level with wins at Spruce Meadows,  WEF, The Gold Cup, Devon, The Hamptons Classic and other top rated horse shows.

Nicholas Latina - Rider and Trainer at Rendez-Vous Farm. Nick has dedicated his life to the world of show jumping. From an early age, his ability was noticed by top professionals in the sport.  He was developed by Julie Winkel, Jens Baackman, Hans Thorben Rüder and Paul Schockemöhle. Having ridden for these leading trainers, his knowledge of starting, training and competing horses at every level is extensive. His approach is gentle, patient and effective, making him a valued member of our team.

Patrick Stanton, Trainer and Resident Farrier

Patrick is a farrier, horse trainer and former co-founder of one of the world's leading luxury horseback safaris. He has spent his life developing his horsemanship skills while traveling the globe working with young and ‘problem’ horses. Patrick is a graduate of the country’s oldest and most selective farrier program at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and has over ten years of farriery experience. Patrick is based here at Rendez-Vous Farm where his skill as a farrier and experience as a trainer are helping horses and riders achieve their potential.
